Kevin Kearney focuses on local government law, providing counseling and litigation services on a wide range of issues, including general business matters, land use, economic development, annexation, tax increment financing, personnel, code enforcement, the Freedom of Information Act, and public policy issues. In addition, Kevin also represents clients in commercial litigation and intellectual property transactions and disputes.
Prior to joining Peterson, Johnson & Murray Chicago LLC, Kevin was an associate at a national midsize firm. While in law school at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Kevin was a Judicial Extern for Hon. Michael T. Mason, U.S. District Court for the Northern District, and a Judicial Intern with the 19th Judicial Circuit of Illinois.
